Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly book meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week, she posts an idea relating to books and encourages other book bloggers to respond with their own top ten lists.
This week’s topic is a back-to-school freebie so I picked ten of my favourite boarding school books/series.
- Harry Potter series
- Gemma Doyle trilogy
- Anna and the French Kiss
- The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks
- The Magicians series
- The Austere Academy
- The Name of the Star
- The Liar Society
- Etiquette and Espionage
- The School for Good and Evil
Do you like boarding school books? What are some of your favourites? Leave me a list or a link to your TTT post below.
Most of the books in your Top Ten Tuesday post this week are new to me! I look forward to exploring the books a bit more. I have the feeling I’ll be adding a few of them to my ever growing reading wishlist.

That’s what I like to hear – I hope you enjoy them! 🙂
This is a cool top 10! I only know of Harry Potter and The Series of Unfortunate Events. 😊
Thanks, Lana! Boarding school books are my weakness.
Ooh I loved The Austere Academy, and I’m just about to read the Gemma Doyle trilogy. Happy reading!
It’s one of my favourites – I hope you enjoy it! 🙂
Nice post! I haven’t heard of half of these. Espinoge I think it’s called has been on my e-reader for ages. Haven’t read that one yet. I know you already read mine! 😀
I hope you enjoy it when you get around to giving it a read! 🙂
Boarding school, my favorite topic!!
Mine too! I’m still somewhat disappointed that I never got to attend one…
I love this topic and list. A few I’ve read and some I haven’t I had the School of Good and Evil for ages but didn’t get a chance to pick it up and don’t actually know where it’s got too . If you like boarding schools have you read Secret History?
Lynn 😀
I haven’t read Secret History yet but I’ve heard so many good things about it – I’ll hopefully get around to reading it soon! 🙂
Great list! I’ve only read Harry Potter, but all of these look interesting! 🙂
Thank you! I definitely recommend giving them a read, if you have time 🙂
