Top Ten Books On My Spring 2021 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly book meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week, she posts an idea relating to books and encourages other book bloggers to respond with their own top ten lists.

Instead of doing this week’s topic, my list is based off of a topic from a couple weeks ago (that I missed, whoops!). Here are 10 books that I need to read this spring:

Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert
I bought an ebook copy of this in early March, so as soon as there’s another rainy day, I’m going to curl up on the couch with this sweet read.

Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne
I absolutely loved The Hating Game, and even though the follow-up to it did not live up to my expectations, I am still holding out hope that Second First Impressions will recapture some of that magic.

The Divines by Ellie Eaton
I just picked this up from the library because I couldn’t say no to that gorgeous cover. It’s been compared to Normal People, so I’m really looking forward to it!

Trouble the Saints by Alaya Dawn Johnson
I was sold on this as soon as I saw it described as ‘The Night Circus meets the Underground Railroad.’ I’m first in line for this at the library, so hopefully it will be in soon!

Witches Steeped in Gold by Ciannon Smart
A Jamaican-inspired fantasy about enemy witches seeking vengeance sounds like the perfect read.

Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson
I couldn’t put down A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder so I need to read the sequel as soon as possible.

Namesake by Adrienne Young
Fable was one of my favourite reads of 2020 and, after that cliffhanger ending, I really need to know what happens next!

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
This has been all over Booktok and Bookstagram, so I know that it is a must-read book that will destroy me emotionally. I’ve finally recovered from reading The Poppy War, so I’m ready to have my heart shattered again.

In Five Years by Rebecca Serle
All of reviews that I’ve read talk about how poignant and heartbreakingly beautiful this book is, so naturally, I need to read it.

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
I read this years ago, when it first came out, but I desperately need to do a reread before the Netflix show airs.

What books are on your spring 2021 TBR?
