Top Ten Books On My Winter 2020-2021 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly book meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week, she posts an idea relating to books and encourages other book bloggers to respond with their own top ten lists.

This week’s topic is “top ten books on my winter 2020-2021 TBR.” I’m a mood reader so I’m pretty bad at sticking to a defined to-read list, but here are 10 of the ones I’m planning to prioritize:

Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots
This gives me major Vicious vibes. I love a morally ambiguous character, especially when it twists the typical superhero story on its head.

Blood & Honey by Shelby Mahurin
I finally read Serpent & Dove the other week, after seeing it all over Bookstagram. I’ve heard excellent things about the sequel, so I’m really excited to pick it up!

Namesake by Adrienne Young
Fable ended on such a cliffhanger, and I’ve been counting down the days until March so that I can finally figure out what happens next.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
I’ve seen this all over Bookstagram and have read so many glowing reviews that I really can’t believe it’s taken me this long to pick up a copy.

The Dragon Republic by R.F. Kuang
I’m not entirely sure I’m emotionally prepared for this, but I need to know what happens next in Rin’s journey.

The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel
After reading Station Eleven earlier this year, I need to read everything else Emily St. John Mandel publishes. The Glass Hotel is her most recent release, and is partially set in Canada which is always a delight to see!

Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert
Get a Life, Chloe Brown is one of my favourite romances I read this year so I cannot wait to read Eve’s story!

The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon
Two exes delivering relationship advice on air sounds like the perfect recipe for drama and a sweet enemies-to-lovers story.

Sweet & Bitter Magic by Adrienne Tooley
Isn’t the cover gorgeous?! I received an ARC of this from Simon & Schuster Canada, and I can’t wait to read it! It’s about a witch that was cursed with the inability to love and has to steal love from others in order to feel things, which is such a neat premise!

Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody
I own the first two books in this series, so it’s about time I read them. It’s been compared to Six of Crows, which I loved, and apparently contains all the scheming.

What books are on your winter TBR? Have you read any of the ones on my list?
