This week’s topic is a holiday freebie. I’ve added a lot of holiday/Christmas books to my TBR recently because of Bookstagram, and here are just 10 of the ones that I can’t wait to read:
In a Holidaze by Christina Laurens
I’ve seen this everywhere this month. Groundhog Day, but make it a Christmas rom-com — it sounds like the perfect cozy read.
Mind the Gap, Dash & Lily by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
It’s been ages since I’ve read Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares, but since I plan to binge the Netflix show soon, I need to read this next!
Wrapped Up in You by Talia Hibbert
I absolutely loved both Get a Life, Chloe Brown and Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert. Her writing style is so much fun and filled with sarcastic banter, so I imagine that this Christmasy read is much the same!
The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss
Going on 12 dates with 12 different men, just to not be single on the holidays? Sounds like something I would have done pre-Covid, so I am here to read about it!
One Day in December by Josie Silver
I love stories about “missed chances at love” and how two people can find their way to each other after years/so many obstacles. This sounds like such a cozy second-chance romance.
The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand
I love a good retelling, so I can’t pass up this Christmas Carol with a twist — it looks like such a quirky, fun read!
Winterspell by Claire Legrand
I’ve never seen The Nutcracker and am only vaguely familiar with it, but still, the idea of a dark Nutcracker retelling is intriguing.
10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston
This sounds so charming and heartwarming! I might not trust my family to set me up on a blind date, but I love hearing (and reading) about them.
All I Want for Christmas by Wendy Loggia
The synopsis sounds like Hallmark movie, so I need some of this Christmas romance magic in my life.
Mistletoe and Mr. Right by Sarah Morgenthaler
Added this to my TBR based solely off of the cover and the tagline: “How the moose (almost) stole Christmas.”
