I stumbled across this 30 day book challenge by The Chronicles of Radiya and decided to give it a try. Hopefully it will lead to 30 consecutive days of blogging that liven up the blog a bit and give us a chance to get to know each other a little better.
Day 4: Favourite Film Adaptation of a Book
I’m so glad that I already did a Top Ten Tuesday post about this; otherwise, I would have been forced to actually think about an acceptable answer.
At the moment, my favourite movie adaptation is definitely The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The author himself was involved in the process, so I didn’t have to worry about it not being true to the book. A lot of the dialogue was lifted straight from the text, so my roommate and I embarrassed all of our friends when we went to see it on opening night by quoting it and crying throughout the entire movie.
