Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly book meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week, she posts an idea relating to books and encourages other book bloggers to respond with their own top ten lists.
This week’s topic is “top ten books by my favourite authors that I still haven’t read.” When I was still in school, I was awful at keeping track of new releases so this list is surprisingly long… but here are just 10 of the ones that I really must read:
- Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman
- Stardust by Neil Gaiman
- A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab
- City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab
- Odd & True by Cat Winters
- Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore
- Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo
- The Crane Wife by Patrick Ness
- The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith/J.K. Rowling
- Renegades by Marissa Meyer
Which books do you still need to read? Do we have any of the same ones? Leave me a list or a link to your TTT post below.
I’ve seen NORSE MYTHOLOGY on a few lists today. That’s not one of Gaiman’s I’m really interested in, although there are others of his that I want to read. I really liked STARDUST when I read it a number of years ago.
I hope you get to read all these and that they’re AWESOME 🙂
Happy TTT!
I’m glad to hear that you loved Stardust, Susan! I really enjoyed the movie so I feel like I should give the book a try.
Happy reading! 🙂
Wonder Woman was on my list this week too, and I still haven’t read City of Ghosts. Hope you enjoy A Gathering of Shadows, I loved it!

Thanks, Jo! I’m so excited for it. I hope you enjoy both Wonder Woman and City of Ghosts when you get a chance to read them – I’ve heard such wonderful things about both 🙂
Oh I love Neil Gaiman, Stardust is great but I feel like Norse Mythology is definitely missable.
I absolutely loved the movie so I feel like I _have_ to read the book at some point. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it – I’ll have to bump it up my TBR!
I love Leigh Bardugo and Marissa Meyers! Definitely capturing and amazing storytellers. Hope you’d get to read them soon.
Their writing is so engaging! I’ll happily read anything they publish.
The Cuckoo’s Calling is so good! I also still need to read The Crane Wife.
I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it, Nicola! Happy reading!
I still need to read A Gathering of Shadows and City of Ghosts. Actually pretty much all of Schwab’s books are on my list. >< I'm trying to correct that at the moment.
Wonder Woman was one of my favourite books last year so I hope you enjoy it when you finally get to it!
I hope The Archived is on your list of Schwab books to read – I absolutely loved it, but it tends to get overshadowed by ADSOM and Vicious.
Thanks Lily! That makes me even more excited to read Wonder Woman. 🙂 Happy reading!
I haven’t read Renegades either but I want to read it before the sequel comes out! It sounds fantastic.
I’ve heard so many good things about it! I hope you enjoy them both 🙂
I haven’t read of any of JK Rowling’s post-Harry Potter novels, not even The Casual Vacancy! I love HP, but her other novels just don’t interest me, unfortunately.

That’s very fair. Life’s too short to read books that you’re not interested in, after all! I’ll admit that I only read The Casual Vacancy because it had Rowling’s name attached to it – it definitely wasn’t the kind of book that I’d pick up otherwise.
I really want to read Wonder Woman! I read Six of Crows, and will be reading Crooked Kingdom. I’ve heard many good things about Wonder Woman, so I’m sure you’ll be in good hands with Leigh Bardugo.
