Friday Finds is a weekly event hosted by Should Be Reading, where you discuss books that you’ve discovered and added to your to-read list over the course of the week. These books don’t have to be ones that you’ve purchased – they can be books that you’ve borrowed, found online, heard about from a friend, etc.
As always, if you’re interested in reading more about one of these books, click on the picture and you’ll be taken to its Goodreads page.
Books I Borrowed:
For some reason, everything I request always comes in at once, so this should keep me busy for quite a while!
What books did you find this week? Leave me a list of your finds or a link to your post in the comments below! : )

I love reading series – I have a habit of waiting to start a series until the first few books are out, since I like being able to read them all in a row instead of having to wait for what seems like forever for the next one to be released.
Thanks for the link! : )
I moved from Israel like 14 years ago and my first series as a child was Harry Potter. I had to work so hard to read the first 4 books so that I could catch up to my friends. Since the 4th I have never missed a harry potter book party, and I’ve read them literally on the day they came out.
I never got to go to any Harry Potter book parties, but they sound like they would be a lot of fun! My town is really small so we didn’t have midnight releases or anything, but I would wait in line at my local bookstore whenever the new books came out so that I could bring them home and read them right away.
yea i pretty much lived the life of a nerdy book worm thanks to my amazing friends in middle school and high school. The only book I just couldn’t get into was twilight, read the first two, and for some reason just couldn’t keep going, so I read the first two to at least be included in the conversations at lunch hahaha.
Same here! I liked the first and third books. I almost quit reading the series partway through the second book, but I wanted to know how the series ended so I kept going. I think that’s where my inability to leave a book or a series unfinished comes from, haha.
hahaha from all the buzz I was able to put it together. I really loved the story line but the style of the book bothered me so much, I felt like was reading a script, which is fine, if it wasn’t meant to be a book. Sometimes too much dialogue is bad. I do enjoy the love story though.
Yeah, too much dialogue leads to more telling than showing, which can be problematic. I wasn’t a huge fan of the love story, but that might be because I don’t like love triangles.
i love triangles i think they are so funny!!! I mean one person is always left out but I just want to be like come on there are more fish in the sea!!!
I’m reading Divergent right now! 🙂 I;m really liking it so far and your picks for this week are awesome! 😀
