WWW Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Should Be Reading. To participate, answer the following three questions:
1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading:
I received an ARC of Mrs. Poe from a Goodreads First Reads giveaway. It’s really interesting so far – aside from knowing that he married his cousin, I knew next to nothing about Poe’s married life.
Recent Reads:
This book was strange but good. The biology major part of me was intrigued by the idea that there could be a biological explanation for vampirism and was fascinated by all of the detailed descriptions of parasites (many of which I learned about in zoology class).
To Read:
I was finally able to pick these up from the library, and I can’t wait to start them. The Shadow of the Wind was one of the best books that I’ve read, so I can’t wait to see what further adventures take place at the Cemetery of Forgotten Books.
These look like good choices. Happy reading.

My wife is a big fan of Poe, I would love to hear more about what you think of the book.
It isn’t quite what I expected, given that the narrator is Frances Osgood, a fellow poet who was also rumored to be Poe’s lover, and not Poe’s wife, as the title would suggest. Despite that, I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s a beautiful mix of poetic prose, mystery, romance, intrigue, and historical documentation – all of which make for a rather compelling and informative read.
I must carry on with that series, I really enjoyed The Shadow of the Wind. Here’s my WWW
