Friday Finds is a weekly event hosted by Should Be Reading, where you discuss books that you’ve discovered and added to your to-read list over the course of the week. These books don’t have to be ones that you’ve purchased – they can be books that you’ve borrowed, found online, heard about from a friend, etc.
Books I Borrowed:
– Tell the Wolves I’m Home by Carol Rifka Brunt
– The Watcher in the Shadows by Chris Moriarty
Recommended By Goodreads:
– The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
– Shadowlands by Kate Brian
– The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey
I really enjoyed Rick Yancey’s The Fifth Wave, he has a great sense of pace, humour and humanity.
It’s on my to-read list, so hopefully I’ll enjoy it as much as you did!
Me too!
I read Tell the Wolves I’m Home and my friend picked it up today in the bookstore because it’s finally out in paperback! : ) I love the cover of that one.
What’d you think of it? The cover’s gorgeous – it’s actually the main reason I picked up the book.
I actually didn’t like it as much as I was expecting. How about you?
I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I really liked it. I wasn’t expecting it to be so sad, though.
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
I haven’t gotten around to reading that yet, but I’ve heard great things about it. : )
Then i will prolly wait for your review 🙂
