November 2020: Monthly Wrap-Up

I can’t believe it’s already December! I spent last weekend putting up Christmas decorations with my mom and my 5-year-old nephew, so I’m definitely starting to get into the holiday spirit already.

November was a mixed month for me. The sun setting earlier meant that I didn’t get to spend a lot of time outside, so I spent most of my free evenings watching New Girl and The Crown. To balance that out, I took every Friday off of work — last week, I went to the Christmas Market to drink an oat milk cookie latte in front of the giant tree, which is one of my favourite winter traditions!

READING PROGRESS

BOOK PURCHASES/FROM PUBLISHERS

My UK editions of The Night Circus and The Starless Sea finally arrived! I’ve been trying not to buy too many books, but I just couldn’t pass these up.

REVIEWS

  • In the Dream House | 5 stars | I can’t stop thinking about this book. It’s beautiful, heavy, haunting, and cathartic.
